Choreo is a Figma plugin for motion design. Designers pick a style, fine-tune timing and easing, link layers and whole screens into animated flows, preview the result, then hand it off to developers. It runs entirely on-device.
I designed and built Choreo in one week, from concept to Figma Community submission. It launches with a free tier and a Pro subscription at US$6 a month or US$48 a year, including a 7-day free trial.
The challenge
Where a design’s feel lives, and gets lost
Motion is where a design’s feel lives, but it’s the hardest part to design and the easiest to lose in hand-off. Designers wrestle with keyframes and easing curves, and developers rebuild motion from guesswork. Choreo had to make motion feel as quick as choosing a style, without hiding the control designers need.

What I did
From concept to Community listing, in one week
Product strategy
- Defined the product concept, positioning and the free and Pro model
Plugin experience
- Designed the panel structure, triggers, style presets and timing controls
- Designed linking layers and whole screens into animated flows
Brand identity
- Created the logo, colour palette and type system
- Designed the marketing visuals and website concepts
Testing & launch
- Tested the plugin on real production design files
- Produced the Figma Community listing, with eight images and a demo video

Designing with AI
Claude supported the build and rapid design iterations, working to my direction. ChatGPT created the marketing imagery. The plugin itself uses no AI: every animation is generated on-device.
